Crowd management & access control · Jeddah & across KSA

Entry control for venues where queues build fast.

Configurable access rules, QR and RFID credential checks and a live view of every entry point, deployed and supported on site by a local ArrowTech team.

Overview

Clear rules at every checkpoint.

When thousands of people arrive in a short window, entry has to be fast, fair and predictable. The system checks each credential against the rules you set for zones, times and ticket types, and tells staff instantly what to do.

We configure it around your site, your credentials and the people running the gates, then stay close through rehearsals, opening day and the events that follow.

Built for
  • Events and exhibitions
  • Entertainment and family venues
  • Facilities with controlled zones
  • Seasonal, high-volume visitor operations

The business case

Entry problems the system is designed to remove

Problem 01

Queues that stretch at opening time

Manual checks cannot keep up with arrival peaks. Fast scanning and clear lane rules keep people moving.

Problem 02

Credentials shared or reused

Without validation, one ticket can let several people in. Each scan is checked against its status and history.

Problem 03

Supervisors working blind

Nobody knows which gate is overloaded until a radio call. A live view shows flow and exceptions as they happen.

Problem 04

Different rules for different zones

VIP areas, staff zones and timed sessions are hard to enforce by hand. Rules are set once and applied at every checkpoint.

Who it’s for

Who uses crowd management & access control

01

Event organisers

Concerts, exhibitions and seasonal events with large arrival peaks.

02

Venue operators

Entertainment centres, attractions and halls with recurring visitors.

Features

What the system does

Access rules

Decide who can enter where, and when.

  • Rules by zone, time window and credential type
  • Re-entry and capacity limits
  • Staff, guest and VIP permissions

QR and RFID credentials

Scan printed codes or RFID wristbands.

  • Credentials designed in Wristband Design Studio
  • Validation against status and history
  • Clear accept and reject feedback for staff

Live operational view

Know what is happening at every gate.

  • Entry counts by gate and zone
  • Exceptions and rejected scans highlighted
  • Reports after each event or day

On-site deployment

A local team from planning to go-live.

  • Site survey and gate planning
  • Device set-up and staff briefing
  • Support during opening and peak periods

In practice · Wristband Design Studio

High-volume wristbands, prepared by hand.

Teams needed a faster, more consistent way to prepare barcode and RFID wristbands for high-volume operations. Rebuilding layouts for every batch was slow and easy to get wrong.

A desktop design and batch-printing workspace gives operators reusable layouts, data-ready production and controls built around the printing devices they use every day.

How deployment works

How a deployment comes together

  1. Understand the site

Entry points, zones, credential types and expected arrival patterns, ideally walked in person.

  2. Configure the rules

Access rules, devices and dashboards set up to match the way your operation runs.

  3. Rehearse with staff

A test run with real devices and staff, so the first live scan is not the first scan.

  4. Go live and support

Our team on hand for opening, then ongoing support and adjustments between events.

Components and platform

  • QR & RFID
  • Handheld and fixed scanners

FAQ

Access control questions from venue teams.

Ask about hardware, ticketing integration or support on event days.

Ask about Crowd management & access control
Do you supply the scanners and wristbands?

We can supply and configure the hardware, or work with devices you already own if they are compatible. We confirm this during the site survey.

Can it work with our existing ticketing?

Often, yes. If your ticketing system can share credential data, we can validate those credentials at the gate. We review the integration options early.

What happens if the connection drops?

We plan for connectivity during design and agree how scanning should behave at each gate if the network is interrupted.

Can we use it for a single event?

Yes. The system suits one-off events as well as permanent venues; the set-up and support plan differ.

Who supports us on the day?

Our local team supports go-live and peak periods, with an agreed escalation route for any issue.
